Keita II of Mali

Sultan Abubakr Keita II of the Mali Empire, predecessor of Mansa Musa discovered America 180 years before Christopher Columbus did.

Abubakr was convinced that he could find the end of the Atlantic Ocean, and outfitted an expedition of 200 ships laden with gold, water and provisions to last a few years, to find it. He did but only one of those ships returned.

Anyone who gives his life to this earth, will receive nothing in return other than a small piece of land where he will be buried. But whoever gives Almighty Allah his life then in return Allah will give him a garden which is larger than earth and sky. We pray Allah should accept all our good acts and save us from the trials of grave and thereafter.
